At the last Council meeting we looked closely at the responses of the questionnaire and have addressed them with the following ineligibility criteria and additional classes.
The eligibility and point earning year runs from the first show held after the Championship Show weekend to the Saturday of the following Championship Show.
Green as Grass Level 2 will remain with the limit is 50 points (regardless of class earned in) you may remain in GAG L2 for the whole of the year in which you reach the limit.
Rookie – 100 points earned in Rookie or 80 points earned in classes above Rookie (whichever is reached soonest). You may remain in Rookie for the whole of the year in which you reach the limit.
Rookie Professional – 150 points in Rookie Professional or 100 points earned in classes above (whichever is reached first). You may remain in Rookie Professional for the whole of the year in which you reach the limit.
Limited Open, Limited Non Pro, Intermediate Open, Intermediate Non Pro as per the NRHA eligibility.
We have added the following Year End Buckle classes.
Novice Horse Open – Eligibility as per the NRHA Novice Horse Level 1 earnings
Novice Horse Non Pro – Eligibility as per the NRHA Novice Horse Level 1 earnings
Prime Time Non Pro - Riders to be 55 and over as on the 1st of January.
Select Non Pro - Riders to be 65 and over as on the 1st of January and must enter the Prime Time Non Pro Class to enter the Select. These classes will run concurrently with the Non Pro class.
To enable a more level playing field (and also to help to avoid riders pointing out of divisions in a first season) we have dropped the double points at the BR Spring and Championship Shows.
